Commercial Restaurant Addition

This project included the design and construction of an addition to the restaurant.

This project transformed an underutilized outdoor dining area into a fully enclosed addition designed for year-round use. The goal was to preserve the open-air experience during the summer while creating a comfortable, protected space during Oregon’s wetter months—without sacrificing style or functionality.

Modern, garage-style windows became the defining feature of the space, allowing the dining area to open completely in warm weather and close seamlessly when conditions change. This flexible design expanded the usable footprint of the property and created a dynamic environment that adapts to the seasons.

Trapala Construction led the project from concept to completion, handling design, planning, and permitting before moving into construction. Every phase was carefully coordinated to ensure the addition integrated naturally with the existing structure while meeting all code and performance requirements.

The result is a versatile, visually striking dining space that enhances both the experience and value of the property—demonstrating how thoughtful design and precise execution can turn a simple idea into a highly functional, high-impact addition.
